Latest purchase
This was a little splurge for me, because we don't really have room in the budget for frivolous entertainment, but I got a good price on eBay for the documentary about Andy Goldsworthy, "Rivers and Tides." I first heard about him from Harry and Margie--they had a book of photographs of his work. I was absolutely enthralled. It took me a few years to find out that there was a documentary about him.
Have you ever heard of him? He's an environmental sculptor from Scotland. I love his stuff so much.

Oh, this takes me back to the three years i worked at the Art and Architecture library at KU. What a great job that was! Well, not the job, but the perks. I used to spend my evenings looking through books that came through the drop slot...we had about 10 Andy Goldsworthy books. There is a special word for a book that includes all of someone´s artwork, but for the life of me I can´t remember. Damn, my life has changed so much since then, but I hope to get a little part of being an art student back.
........ is the word "compendum"? That word just hit me while I was reading your post.
