Aw, remember the campouts? The most fun ever. I haven't had such a good time sitting around a campfire as I did then.
Though I do have a random memory of Garret, Mark, and maybe Eric coming to visit Emporia one night when my friends and I made a big bonfire at the lake?
The most pictures I have of us are from campouts. I love the ones here, where we all look alert, and then ones from the following morning, where we can barely open our eyes and smell like the campfire. And then, remember the first year, we all went to your church the next morning, Ellie? And we all sat in the back row and must have smelled like smoke itself? those campouts were definitely the best.
That was a special day. Katie and I got baptized. I remember after church getting back in the car and driving around country roads again, this time near LeAnn's house.
