I SHOULD be making dinner
I should be making dinner, but I keep checking email on the "conversation" and just had a thought. Mariah is the person who is tying us all together again. Since it's been almost a year since she left us, I was thinking of something we could do for her mom.
What if we sent her copies of our pictures with Mariah in them to her? Or made a slideshow? Not sure about the exact execution of this.
That way she gets to see a side of Mariah she didn't always see. Let me know what you think.

I have had this idea brewing since I was unable to attend the funeral. I like it a lot.
What about giving Julie the link to this blog and letting her read it?
Um, this is a segue into me admitting that I was so excited about this that I told my sister, and she read some of the posts and told me she got a little teary eyed and loves the blog.

Yes, I just finished getting dinner in the oven so I could come back and check in. And yes, the idea of sending the photographs in some form to Julie sounds wonderful. I was just looking through some of my photos last night; I have lots of fun ones of Mariah -- one that I think LeAnn took of her in my car, one where the photo is her entire face (so cute!), and one where she's toasting a marshmallow at a campout. So, yes, let's get them to her mom and family. (I'm almost contemplating buying a scanner just for this blog and photos -- or I suppose I could mail them to Jen?)
I have some I could send.
